While roof restoration continues, we are adding small ‘s’ shapes cut from lightweight wood. We glue them together.
We are attempting to mount the side uprights onto the base. We have 6 complete uprights, and we are creating 2 additional ones from elements found on the broken uprights. We are performing a provisional assembly.
We use this provisional assembly to position the friezes and sculpted bands, and to understand the structure’s assembly.
We are recessing the structure’s feet into the base. We are solidifying the provisional structure with cardboard sheets to obtain a square base. We are positioning the roof of the side section beneath the first floor.
We are casting latex molds of the frieze consoles. We realize that a significant number of parts are missing. We look forward to seeing Nicolas Godelet this Tuesday. We will continue casting molds and compiling the list of missing parts.
