Sofie returns with silicone molds of the missing friezes. We cast these parts with a synthetic resin, making them lighter and more durable.
We also continue the plaster-porcelain molding of small ‘Dogon’ type elements and ornamental tabs.
We assemble the friezes and consoles and adjust them. We do not fix them permanently, as access still needs to be cleared to position the doors and the ‘S’ and ‘C’ structures that attach to the interior friezes.
We also simulate the position of the Dogons under the balconies and the ‘S’ and ‘C’ system that connects the friezes above the doors to the front of the balconies.
We assemble the ornamental parts of the roof fronts.
For a piece measuring 7cm by 6cm and 7cm thick, we have 8 interlocking pieces!
Vectorization continues; the central doors and ground floor railings are under construction.
